Tecun is named after Tecún Umán, the last ruler of the K’iche’ Maya and a symbol of courage, leadership, and ancestral strength. Often depicted with quetzal feathers and guided by his quetzal bird spirit, Tecun represents honor, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural and spiritual world.

The belt’s palette of white, brown, turquoise, yellow, and burgundy brings that story to life.
